PARADE BOWLING CLUB

Parade Bowling Club
there has been a bowls club on these popular greens close to the town centre and adjacent hotels since before the war. The present club, Parade Bowling Club was formed in 2004, shortly after the previous club closed down. The club plays primarily as a mixed club and is affiliated to both the men’s and women’s sections of the appropriate federations.

Extensive improvements have been made to the rinks over winter 2005/06 to restore them to their previous high standard. The club house has been refurbished, and in addition to the visitors changing rooms there are good catering facilities, and a club bar licence has been applied for.

There is a council ‘pay & display’ car par adjacent to the rinks, and free street parking locally. Our club house and rinks all have wheelchair access, and there is a disabled toilet adjoining the clubhouse.
